1) How do
I find what I need on the site: Simply
pick your canoeing category on the tabs at the top link and search.
Each page is laid out simply to find whatever you need.
2) How do I
know the site links can be trusted as quality sites: canoeuniverse
will do all it can to only list quality sites with quality products.
Whenever possible, we will try to investigate concerns with the
retailers or manufacturers listed, and if there is a quality/service
problem, and we are not satisfied with the resolution of the problem,
we will not list the site any longer. This does not, however,
constitute a guarantee on the part of canoeuniverse on behalf of the
sites listed, as caveat emptor (or buyer beware) still applies. If
you have suggestions for other items/sites to be added to
canoeuniverse, please let us know.
3) Why does canoeuniverse list
some sites as banner links and others as text links only? : canoeuniverse
may in some cases charge for advertising space or be an 'associate'
with a paid sponsored site, so they will get a larger link.
Canoeuniverse is intended to be a very complete resource for paddling
however, and we will try to provide links to all
paddling/gear/camping/outdoor related sites that we think applicable,
so check the blog, mail outs, equipment reviews, etc for tips on
choosing the best gear out there, with opinions by those 'in the know'.

This online portal was created to make the process of canoe- related shopping
easy
and fun! Here you will find resources for all types of canoes. Canoes
are also reviewed in our online forum and review section.
Many types of
canoeing gear
is listed from T-shirts to helmets, throw bags, drysuits,
etc. There is also a wide selection of paddles to
choose from. If you
are already a seasoned paddler, perhaps the maps
and trip reports
will
be of assistance. If you are just beginning, or if you are wanting to
take your paddling up a notch, then look at the online courses section
to find a tutorial
that fits your needs. The tutorials are for either
flatwater or moving water. Perhaps you are a C-1 paddler.

have a resource page for online instruction for this as well. There are
links to all of the above areas. If we don't sell it, we can find it
